We've improved our trace comparison view in LangSmith, making it faster for you to analyze traces. All of the features can be toggled, so you can customize your view based on your needs. Here's what's new:

1. Auto-Trace Tracking

With auto-trace tracking, when you step through the runs of one trace, the corresponding run in the other trace updates automatically. This makes it easier for you to compare your related runs effortlessly and streamline analysis.

2. Synced Scrolling

The new synced scrolling feature lets you scroll through both traces simultaneously. This improvement lets you easily spot differences or similarities without needing to switch back and forth.

3. Diff Viewer

We’ve added a diff viewer that visualizes the differences between the inputs and outputs of two runs. This tool makes it easy to identify and compare two traces, whether you’re troubleshooting or optimizing performance.
